LEWISBURG, W.VA. (WVDN) Supporters of Greenbrier Valley local farmers, veterans, and schools will hold a peaceful rally at Lewisburg’s Green Space on April 5 from noon to 1 p.m. Representatives from each group will make brief remarks about the challenges they face today.
“Hands Off” signs will be available in support of farmers, veterans’ benefits, the US Postal Service, schools, Social Security, and Medicaid.
Participants are encouraged to create their own signs in support of these groups. Following the speeches, those interested will take a short walk through parts of Lewisburg.
This event is one of several rallies taking place across the country on April 5. Everyone is invited to participate. Bring a friend, and spread the word.
