Beaver, WV (WOAY)—An e-commerce behemoth is opening a local facility to better serve its customers in southern West Virginia.
Amazon has announced the launch of its first delivery station in Raleigh County.
According to a statement from the company’s public relations representative, the station will help the company provide fast delivery and excellent service to local customers.
Amazon is considering locating the station on Beaver’s University Drive.
Construction is still in its early stages.
However, the company states that as it moves closer to opening the facility, it will collaborate with local partners to keep the community informed of updates, hiring initiatives, and other developments.
