North Central West Virginia (WDTV) – Reports of massive damage and thousands of power outages are coming in from North Central West Virginia.

In Weston, 911 officials confirm that the storm collapsed a building that was being demolished on Main Ave. Officials say no one was inside at the time of the collapse.

Witnesses in Marion County have reported several instances of storm-related damage.

A residential building on 14th Street near East/West Stadium in Fairmont had its roof removed. According to fire officials, no one was injured or trapped.

According to MonPower, thousands of West Virginians are currently without power. A rough estimate indicates that at least 7000 people in North Central West Virginia have lost power.

Statewide, that figure has risen to 37,000.
