Colleton County, South Carolina (WCIV) – According to local authorities, one man was killed in Colleton County on Thursday night after being shot during an argument.
Clint Crosby, 40, was recognized as a suspect in the shooting. However, deputies from the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office have been unable to locate him.
According to a report from the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred after an apparent altercation between the victim and Crosby at a property on Dover Bluff Lane in Walterboro.
Deputies initially received a 911 call reporting gunshots with the person injured. The person was subsequently taken to a local hospital, where they died.
Local authorities believe Crosby is in the Goose Creek area of Berkeley County or on his way to Tennessee or Kentucky. Deputies stated he should be regarded armed and dangerous.
Crosby may potentially be in the company of another adult guy who observed the incident. They are thought to be driving a Toyota Tacoma with South Carolina plates and a 685AMB license plate. They may also be driving a Toyota Prius with South Carolina plates and a UEV809 number plate.
If captured, Crosby is facing multiple charges, including murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
