Magistrate Tim Stover is leaving the public service after 34 years of service

LEWISBURG – Greenbrier County Magistrate Tim Stover will retire on Wednesday, April 30, after a distinguished 34-year public service career.

Stover spent 28 years with the Lewisburg Police Department before being elected as Greenbrier County Magistrate, a position he has held for nearly five years. Throughout his career in law enforcement and the judiciary, Stover has been committed to serving and improving the community.

According to his daughter-in-law, Stover is excited to spend more time with his grandchildren in retirement.
