Play Sheet Sports has introduced the Player of the Week award!
Players from winning teams in Nicholas, Fayette, Greenbrier, Raleigh, Monroe, Summers, Wyoming, Mercer, and McDowell counties can be nominated every week.
Every week, Play Sheet publisher Tyler Jackson and a special guest picker will select the Player of the Week winner. If the two are unable to agree, the poll will be used to break the tie.
The overall poll winner will still be recognized every week for their community’s efforts to advance their cause.
The nomination process can be completed in two ways: coaches of winning teams can email a nomination to Tylerjackson@playsheetsports.com by 10 a.m. on Sunday morning, along with supporting statistics. If a coach does not nominate a player, Play Sheet Sports will choose one from each team that submitted a box score, has GameChanger stats available, or was covered in some way during the week.
To make this process easier, it is HIGHLY recommended that you make your GC stats public.
This week’s poll will close on Friday, May 2 at 11:59 p.m.
