According to police, one person died after a family dispute turned into a fatal shooting in a southwest Houston home on Sunday afternoon.

According to Houston police, the shooting occurred at a home on Whittingham Lane near Longcommon Drive and was reported around 4:40 p.m.

The victim is only identified as a man in his thirties. Police say he was shot in the chest after a family feud turned violent. He was taken to a hospital and later died.

Police are still looking for the suspect who allegedly fled the scene in a purple Maserati.
