WrestleMania is considered WWE’s season finale, but the company does not have an offseason. Following the events of WrestleMania 41, WWE officially announced two major upcoming pay-per-views.

Money in the Bank and the Survivor Series will be held at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, and Petco Park in San Diego. Money in the Bank will take place on June 7, the evening following WWE Worlds Collide, a crossover event between NXT and WWE’s recently acquired Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide promotion.

Men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches are typically held during the annual show. John Cena, the undisputed WWE champion, has also been confirmed for Money in the Bank.

Notably, WWE has dropped “WarGames” from the Survivor Series name. Survivor Series has been a staple of WWE events since 1997, with the last three years focusing on the “WarGames” theme. It suggests that WWE will return to the original team elimination Survivor Series match, rather than the interval-style WarGames cage match.

“For the first time in the event’s nearly 40-year history, Survivor Series will take place in a stadium on November 29, and we believe Petco Park in San Diego is the perfect host for a historic night,” said WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque in a press release.

The promotion had previously announced SumerSlam events for August 2 and 3 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutheford, New Jersey, and Clash in Paris on August 31.
