North Central West Virginia now has two brand-new Almost Heaven swings

Clarksburg, West Virginia (WBOY) — The West Virginia Department of Tourism has announced the installation of three new Almost Heaven swings, with two located in north central West Virginia.

According to a press release from the department, Tygart Lake State Park in Taylor County and Valley Falls State Park in Marion County have both added new Almost Heaven swings, which are popular photo spots across the Mountain State.

Chelsea Ruby, Secretary of the West Virginia Department of Tourism, hopes the new swings will encourage people to enjoy and share West Virginia’s outdoor spaces.

“It’s so exciting to see people coming from near and far to see our Almost Heaven swings,” Ruby said in the release. “These make the ideal photo opportunities for people to enjoy during their spring vacations and beyond. Now is an excellent time to plan your spring trip to the Mountain State!”

If you visit one of these swings, please share any photos you take on social media with the hashtag #AlmostHeaven.

Another swing has been added to Sportsman’s Park in Wirt County.

There are currently 36 Almost Heaven swings in West Virginia.
