A “government-ordered” closure has resulted in hundreds of layoffs in New York across multiple locations.

Staffing Boutique, Inc. is laying off all employees in New York, according to a WARN notice.

Staffing Boutique is laying off 239 people from multiple locations in New York.

“Staffing Boutique, Inc. is a full-service staffing firm that specializes in recruitment for nonprofit and educational organizations. We provide a range of services, including executive search, direct hire, and temporary recruitment for general administration,” the company says on Linkedin.

The WARN notice states that all employees are being let go due to “contract termination and government-ordered closing.”

The WARN notice was just released, but it states that employee layoffs began on February 7. Layoffs will continue through March 10.
