Whether you have VA Disability or SSDI payments, you will be able to get a new payment in the next few days if you are eligible.
Before the end of March, a group of SSDI recipients in the United States will be able to receive a new check, but they are not the only ones with an upcoming collection, as the VA Disability Benefit is also on its way, and we may be among those eligible to receive it.
So, regardless of whether we receive SSDI or VA Disability payments, we will be able to mark the date on the calendar when we will receive our retirement benefit. It should also be noted that both of these payments are related to the March 2025 payment, despite the fact that one will be received in April of this year.
When is the new SSDI coming?
The new SSDI payment will be delivered to US citizens very soon. This week, the Social Security Administration will make the final March retirement payments. This payment will be sent by the Administration on March 26th, so only a select group will be eligible for collection.
To receive this SSDI check, you must meet two requirements. The first requirement is to have received payment after May 1997. The second requirement is that your birthday falls between the 21st and 31st of any given month.
Both requirements are mandatory, but SSDI payment is not required. Retirees who meet both conditions can still receive the check. As a result, if we have a retirement payment due to age or another reason, we can continue to receive it.
When does the March VA Disability arrive?
This payment arrives on a different day than SSDI, as they are separate benefits. This benefit is usually paid on the first day of the following month. This means that the payment could be sent on April 1st of 2025. And, because there are no exceptions this month, the payment will be delivered on that day to the beneficiaries of this benefit.
Please keep in mind that the payment scheduled for April 1st is from March. As a result, we’re talking about the March VA Disability benefit check, not the April one. Similarly, the SSDI payment on March 26th is for the same month.
