Elon Musk has threatened to sue a former Democratic representative for insulting him on CNN.
Following his appearance on CNN’s NewsNight with Abby Phillip, the tech tycoon announced on his social media platform X that he will file a lawsuit against former New York Congressman Jamaal Bowman.
“This shows again the American people do not trust Elon Musk, and Elon Musk is incompetent in his position,” Bowman said at the time. “So how do we know?
Because they fired tens of thousands of people, they were challenged in court, and the court ruled that the people must return, and they are now returning. He is incompetent. He is a thief. He is a Nazi. People don’t trust him. “Period,” Bowman explained.
Thomas Hern shared a clip of Bowman insulting Elon Musk on X, prompting Musk to respond.
“On CNN, Jamaal Bowman referred to Elon Musk as a “incompetent thief” and “Nazi.” “An impending lawsuit,” Hern wrote on X.
Elon Musk responded to the X post, saying, “I’ve had enough. “A lawsuit is on its way.”
X users commented on the post to express their opinions, with many encouraging Musk to sue Bowman.
Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina commented, “Fight back!”
“Good, go after these militant racists. “They should be sued to the ground,” TrumpsterFrank wrote.
“Sue him for every penny he owns. He and the rest of the Democrats have spent every second of their day slandering and defaming you. There are numerous others whom you could sue. “I hope so,” said Gunther Eagleman.
Others criticized Musk for threatening to sue Bowman.
“I thought you were an advocate for free speech, supporting people who say all sorts of negative things about immigrants. Now, what’s the difference? Commented Peter Ekakoro.
“You’re so soft,” Art Candee commented.
“Awwwwwwww, I guess you don’t like free speech as much as you say you do,” another user commented.
“Have you had enough of free speech?” His words are far fewer than yours toward the left, all because of the actions of a very small minority. Should we all sue you? Brian Raymes wrote, “We had enough a long time ago.”
