MONONGALIA COUNTY – Two Pennsylvania residents were arrested late Friday night after a traffic stop on Interstate 68 uncovered suspected drugs.
According to the West Virginia State Police, Trooper First Class J. L. Anglin conducted a traffic stop on a dark-colored Ford SUV at approximately 11:17 p.m. on February 21 in the Morgantown area.
The driver, Paul Martin Brownfield, 41, of Adah, Pennsylvania, and his passenger, Julie Ann Strosnider, 43, of Dilliner, Pennsylvania, were arrested after authorities discovered suspected methamphetamine, a large number of alprazolam pills, and a scale wrapped in plastic baggies.
The Monongalia County Sheriff’s K-9 unit assisted Trooper Anglin with the investigation.
Brownfield and Strosnider were charged with possession with the intent to deliver and drug conspiracy.
