Zoë Kravitz Shows Where She stands With Ex Channing Tatum

Zoë Kravitz remains a fan of her ex, Channing Tatum.

In fact, the Big Little Lies actress—who directed her former fiancé in the 2024 thriller Blink Twice before their split in October—has no ill will toward Channing, telling Elle in an interview published Feb. 25 that “I care for him very much.”

Zoë is eager to advance in his career.

“He has so much more coming, and I think he’s in a place as an actor where he’s feeling really confident and people are seeing different sides of him,” the young woman said. “He’s got a lot to offer, so I’m excited for people to keep witnessing that.”

Despite the couple’s split just months after the film’s release, Zoë remained positive about her directorial debut and its inspiration.

“Not at all,” she said. “I love this thing that we made together.”

She went on to say, “I’m so glad everything happened. I’m just grateful that we got to go on that journey together.”

In August 2021, dating rumors surfaced between Zoë and Channing after the 44-year-old was cast in Blink Twice. From there, the relationship quickly progressed, and the couple got engaged in October 2023 before calling it quits a year later.

Before their split, the High Fidelity star described how the two grew creatively together throughout their relationship.

“He makes me laugh and we both really love art and talking about art and the exploration of why we do what we do,” she told the magazine GQ in 2022. “We love to watch a film and break it down and talk about it and challenge each other.”

Similarly, Channing raved about working with his then-partner and encouraged other couples to test their own limits.

“I recommend this to anybody in a relationship,” he told E! News in August. “Go find the hardest possible creative project and go do it together.”
