Blake Lively's Lawyers Call Out Content Creators Like Perez Hilton and Candace Owen for 'Parroting' Justin Baldoni's Narrative

Blake Lively’s lawyers are accusing social media influencers of duplicating her co-star Justin Baldoni’s message in their ongoing court battle.

Baldoni is currently suing Lively for sexual harassment and retaliation for her production work on “It Ends With Us.”

The plaintiff’s attorneys claim that internet personalities are misinterpreting the facts and swaying public opinion against her in favor of Baldoni.

According to Variety, Lively’s lawyers have requested a protective order in court, claiming that online commentary could harm her by exposing sensitive personal information.

Some content creators, such as Perez Hilton and Candace Owens, have been accused of bias against Lively.

Lively’s lawyers contended that “certain online content creators frequently parrot the Wayfarer Parties’ line.” The online discourse has created a “echo chamber” that distorts the story and media coverage of the case, putting Lively in a difficult position.

“The travels of the mischaracterization embraced by the Opposition through this manufactured echo chamber, by itself, provides ample justification for a Protective Order that establishes adequate protections for third-party privacy interests,” Lively’s camp wrote, according to Variety.

Baldoni’s attorneys have agreed to a standard protective order, but not Lively’s broader confidentiality requests. They argue that Lively’s image has already been tarnished by her own inappropriate behavior.

The group expressed concern that public appearances had become inappropriate, with jokes made about her.

As the court case progresses and the allegations become more serious, both sides struggle to navigate public perception.

Blake Lively’s amended lawsuit against co-star Justin Baldoni now includes nearly 50 pages of allegations, including sexual harassment and retaliation on the “It Ends With Us” film set. The revised complaint was filed in New York federal court within hours of a judge’s deadline.

The complaint states that these women complained to Lively about Baldoni’s “unwelcome behavior” that made them feel uncomfortable. One of the film’s female co-stars expressed concerns directly to Sony, the distributor.

In her complaint, Lively claimed: “Ms. Lively brought this lawsuit because she was one of the ‘women or two’ that Mr. Baldoni ‘one million percent’ made uncomfortable on the set.” According to reports, Baldoni and his production studio Wayfarer were also aware of Lively’s awkward feelings.

Baldoni’s attorney dismissed the updated Lively filing as “underwhelming” and based on hearsay from unnamed sources who refused to provide names.
