Three people were detained after a drug bust in Ohio

Sheryl Sue Assad, 48, was arrested around 1 p.m. on the 100 block of St. Patrick Street by Warren County Sheriff’s deputies and detectives.

She was charged with trafficking methamphetamine after authorities connected her to a mobile home used for drug storage.

According to Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace, Assad rented the mobile home under her name, which Thomas Jones used to store crystal meth.

She is currently in custody at the Warren County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Warren County Justice Court on Wednesday.

Last week, the Vicksburg Police Department and Warren County Sheriff’s Office seized approximately 217 grams (½ pound) of crystal methamphetamine, 131 pressed fentanyl pills, ½ ounce of crack cocaine, and $4,148 in cash.

The confiscated drugs have an estimated street value of $7,800.

Jones and Charley Lee Brown had previously been arrested in connection with the bust.
