Five people were charged and arrested following a search warrant at a West Virginia location.

Officials say members of the Hancock-Brooke-Weirton DTF (HBWDTF), the Weirton Police Department (WPD), and the West Virginia State Police (WVSP) executed a search warrant on Gardner Avenue in Weirton, Hancock County, WV.

According to officials, the search warrant was executed following months of surveillance on multiple subjects who frequented the residence.

During the search, officials claim they discovered a large amount of fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, and US currency.

Officials say four people were arrested and charged during the search, and all four were wanted as fugitives from justice in Maryland and Ohio.

William Zimmerman, 45, of Steubenville, Ohio, Jason Darby, 42, of Weirton, West Virginia, Martas Cromwell-Robinson, 30 of Baltimore, Maryland, Vance Lytle, 35, of Steubenville, Ohio, and Heather Smith, 40, of Steubenville, Ohio, were all arrested. These individuals are all charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver and Conspiracy to Deliver Fentanyl and Crystal Methamphetamine.
