Bramwell, WV – Crews from several agencies are responding to an active fire in Mercer County.
According to Mercer County Dispatch, the fire began around 11:45 a.m. on Simmons River Road in the Bramwell area on Monday, February 3, 2025.
Crews from Bramwell Volunteer Fire Department, Bluewell Volunteer Fire Department, Montcalm Volunteer Fire Department, Matoaka Volunteer Fire Department, Bluefield Rescue Squad, and the Mercer County Office of Emergency Management responded to the emergency.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
