Sean “Diddy” Combs, the disgraced music mogul, has reportedly been rushed to a hospital from his prison cell.
Combs, 54, is currently in jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges; he denies all allegations against him.
A law enforcement source told the New York Post that the rapper was transferred from the notorious Metropolitan Detention Center to Brooklyn Hospital around 10 p.m. on Thursday.
After Combs complained that his “knee was bothering him,” doctors performed an MRI on him, according to the source.
Combs has a long history of knee issues, which began after he ran the New York marathon.
According to reports, after routine tests at the hospital, he was transported back to jail and marched to his cell.
The hospital visit was reportedly scheduled late at night to avoid suspicion and speculation about his injuries.
Diddy has been dealing with difficulties since being arrested on a number of allegations, according to The Sun.
He is thought to have had a Christmas meltdown in prison because he couldn’t believe he was still behind bars during the holiday season.
The music mogul reportedly begged guards to take him to a prison hospital for observation, claiming he was having a breakdown.
According to a source close to Diddy, guards at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center refused his bizarre request.
According to the insider, Diddy expected to be out on bail by now, given his powerful legal team.
“Spending the holidays behind bars was a nightmare for him.”
Another source close to the disgraced rapper denied the allegations, saying he is staying strong in prison.
Diddy also reportedly appeared noticeably thinner and greyer at a recent court hearing following months in federal custody.
According to an eyewitness, the disgraced rapper’s appearance has changed dramatically, fueling speculation about how prison life is affecting the once-luxurious music mogul.
Law & Crime reporter Elizabeth Millner, who attended the hearing, said: “He appeared just astonishingly thinner, which you can expect [from him being] inside a federal detention center for a couple of months now.”
“A lot different from the luxury lifestyle that he was living before, but he appeared very noticeably thinner and maybe being locked up in detention is starting to wear on him.”
Combs has faced dozens of civil lawsuits for rape and assault in recent months, including cases involving children as young as nine.
He has also been involved in legal battles over sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution allegations.
Combs is accused of abusing several women while running Bad Boy Records as a “criminal enterprise” for over a decade.
He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and denies the allegations made against him.
In recent days, two more women have come forward and joined a newly filed New York indictment against Combs.
Federal prosecutors have added “Victim-2” and “Victims-3” to his explosive case, according to TMZ.
Charges against the music mogul initially listed only “Victim-1,” who is thought to be his ex-girlfriend, singer Casandra Ventura, also known as Cassie.
Diddy had previously been charged with sex trafficking “Victim-1”.
According to TMZ, new court documents now claim that the music mogul transported all three women to “engage in prostitution”.
Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has claimed that the shocking update in the rapper’s sex crime investigation was “flawed.”
“The most recent Indictment contains no new offenses. “The prosecution’s theory remains flawed,” Agnifilo stated.
Another accusation is made by one of his former assistants, who claims the musician forced him to perform heinous acts to prove his loyalty to his “king”.
Phillip Pines claimed that his boss once pressured him into having sex with a girl at a notorious “Freak Off” party.
In a lawsuit, Pines accuses the disgraced music icon of sexual battery, harassment, and other allegations.
The ex-assistant made these shocking allegations in a heartbreaking documentary called “The Fall of Diddy.”
Homeland Security arrested Combs in Manhattan on September 16 on racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
He was charged with three federal counts, one of which alleged that he forced his victims to participate in drug-fueled sex parties he dubbed “freak-offs.”
Combs’ trial is scheduled to start on May 5.
Diddy’s Downfall
Forrest McFarland, a senior reporter for The Sun, has been covering Diddy’s legal battles for years.
BEFORE Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in September, it was widely assumed that the rap star would be detained after being repeatedly accused of heinous crimes and having two of his mansions raided by federal agents.
His legal troubles came to a head on September 17, when he was charged with three federal counts, including sex trafficking, for allegedly forcing victims to participate in drug-fueled sex parties known as “Freak Offs.”
Hours before his arrest, The Sun exclusively revealed that federal agents investigating Combs were secretly communicating with Tupac Shakur murder prosecutors about gangland activities.
The development came after Combs was mentioned 77 times in documents submitted by prosecutors in the Tupac murder case.
Aside from the Tupac case, Combs was already dealing with a slew of lawsuits, including one with his ex, Cassie Ventura, who accused him of rape and abuse.
A disturbing hotel surveillance video from 2016 shows Combs chasing Cassie down and then punching, kicking, and beating her in a hallway.
Two months earlier, in March 2024, federal agents raided two of Combs’ mansions, seizing three AR-15s, drugs, and 1,000 bottles of lube that were part of his “Freak Off” supplies.
In addition to the federal criminal charges, Combs is facing a number of lawsuits alleging sexual assault, harassment, and sex trafficking dating back to the early 1990s.
In February 2024, music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a lawsuit alleging that Combs forced him to hire sex workers and perform sex acts while working on his latest album.
Combs has denied any wrongdoing and pleaded not guilty to the federal sex trafficking charges brought against him, but his fight is not over.
He faces life in prison if convicted on all counts.
