Lewisburg, West Virginia. Greenbrier County Sheriff Bart Baker is delighted to report that Chief Deputy Joshua Martin was officially sworn in on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, by the Honorable Patrick Via, Circuit Judge of Greenbrier County.
Chief Martin has been with the Sheriff’s Office since April 2023 and has the permanent rank of captain. Chief Martin also served as Chief Deputy under Sheriff Sloan’s administration.
Chief Martin has served the Sheriff’s Office honestly, faithfully, and with distinction for over 20 years; he performed admirably under Sheriff Sloan and has my whole trust and confidence. I am excited to collaborate with Chief Martin to provide the greatest services to Greenbrier County’s residents and visitors.
