Dr. Phil has told Selena Gomez to dry her tears and quit crying about Donald Trump’s mass deportations.
According to RadarOnline.com, the television personality was among many celebrities who lashed out against the pop singer when she shared a video of herself sobbing excessively in response to the president’s crackdown on illegal immigrants.
After Gomez’s tearful video went viral, Dr. Phil, who had joined ICE officials in Chicago over the weekend, addressed the singer’s remarks in the video.
In her message, the singer claimed, “All my people, especially the children, are being attacked.” I do not comprehend. I’m so sorry. I wish I could do something, but I can’t,” she explained. “I’m not sure what to do. I pledge to try anything.
In response to the video, Dr. Phil stated, “I don’t believe she was grieving for these people.
“I wanted to witness the immigration enforcement sweeps for myself. There were no limits. There was no room I couldn’t enter. There was no meeting that I couldn’t attend.
He continued, “She appeared to be quite honest in her empathy for these individuals, but I’m not sure who she was associating with… I don’t think she could relate to the persons killed in this operation.”
As seen in the recordings, Dr. Phil had several chats with Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, about the people they were looking for.
He went into detail: “They were reading off the charges and the convictions in the command center – murder, murder, child sex crimes, child rape, aggravated assault.”
The TV anchor stated that he was “very impressed with the professionalism” of the mission.
After joining Homan and his team during the raids and discovering that they are “focusing on the worst first,” he stated that Gomez’s knowledge of the targets is erroneous and blamed the “mainstream media.”
Dr. Phil stated that this guy poses a clear threat to the community. I don’t think anyone would dispute that having him in the community improves it.
Following claims that the ICE enforcement team was coming into schools and removing persons, kids, or even companies, they denied the accusations.
After posting the video when it became viral, Gomez promptly removed it owing to the abuse she received on social media.
She also erased a reaction to the criticism, which read: “Apparently it’s not OK to show empathy for people”.
During an interview with Fox News, Homan remarked on the singer’s video, saying, “If they don’t like it, go to Congress and change the law.” We are going to perform this procedure without apology.”
Dr. Phil elaborated: “These agents are after the evil guys… There hasn’t been much disinformation out there.
