Monroe County, West Virginia – Although no records or people were lost, the building sustained significant damage.
Around 3:30 a.m. this morning, smoke was seen coming from the building, prompting local authorities to respond. The fire was discovered to be between the second and third floors of the building.
As a result, the county commission held an emergency meeting this morning to declare a County State of Emergency to expedite the building’s repairs.
