NOTICE OF FILING OF PETITION FOR FORFEITURE
The purpose of this lawsuit is to obtain an Order forfeiting the aforementioned property under the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act (Chapter 60A, Article 7, of the West Virginia Code, as amended).
TO: Any Claimant with a Right or Interest in the Property
You have the right to file a claim for the property described herein within thirty (30) days of the date of publication. Any such claim must clearly state the Claimant’s identity as well as an address at which legal process can be served.
The property seized and the subject of this suit is described as follows: $34,767.01 (thirty-four thousand, seven hundred, and sixty-seven dollars and one cent).
The seizure was carried out by the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
The seizure occurred on October 22, 2024, in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. Justin Rich possessed the above-mentioned property.
That after the deadline for filing said claim(s), an Order of the Court directing forfeiture of the seized property to the State and vesting ownership of said property be sought.
If you fail to file a claim, an Order for the relief sought in the Petition may be issued against you after a proper hearing.
A copy of the Petition may be obtained from the undersigned Clerk at his office.
