2023 Ashville Viking Festival – April 29th and 30th

The annual Viking’s Day Festival in Ashville, Ohio may the ideal way to celebrate the start of spring if you’re searching for a fun, educational, and family-friendly event. The event is set up in Ashville Park, which is located close to the elementary school in the heart of the village. Participants are invited to bring canned food items to donate to the neighborhood food pantry; these will function as tickets into the event. This event is not only a terrific chance to spend time with your family, but it’s also a chance to give back to the neighborhood. Since the entrance donations from this event assist to fill the nearby food bank for several months, generous giving is encouraged.
The Viking’s Day Festival features 45 to 60 vendors, a large number of volunteers, and a large number of amazing and knowledgeable reenactors who take part in living and recreating their historical period. The event happens for a very brief weekend in the Ashville Park around a 40-foot Viking ship stage. The sellers put together a majority of handmade goods that you won’t find together anyplace else.
