Warm Up in Pickaway!

‘Tis the season for warm beverages! When you are visiting Pickaway County, make sure you grab a cup of coffee, tea, or even hot chocolate to accompany you on your travels. Here are some of my recommendations for where to get a hot treat!
Scioto Valley Coffee
216 W Main St, Circleville
Scioto Valley is right around the corner from The Welcome Center, so our office goes there a lot. They have a huge selection of drinks, and pretty much any flavor syrup you can think of. Sometimes I just go in and tell them I am craving a flavor, and they make a recommendation. If I am getting a hot drink at this time of year, I like to get a peppermint white mocha or a hot chocolate with a shot of peppermint.
JoyHouse Coffee
202 N Pickaway St, Circleville
Their Dirty Chai tastes like winter in a cup. It has the warm mulling spices of the season, but also has the caffeine of a black tea AND espresso. JoyHouse also has a beautiful ambiance inside.
Tim Hortons
1051 OH-56 E, Circleville
My favorite coffee from here is their dark roast, you can get a shot of peppermint added for some extra holiday cheer. They also have pretty good hot chocolate.
Starbucks
175 Lancaster Pike (Inside Kroger) or 1641 South Court Street, Circleville
Starbucks has a great selection of customizable drinks. My go to so far this season has been the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, with an extra shot of espresso.
Rhoads Garden Center
1051 OH-56 E, Circleville
Too busy to go out for coffee? Rhoads Garden Center carries Silver Bridge Coffee, roasted in Ohio. Rhoads has a great wine selection, which is awesome for staying warm and cozy at home, too!
