My name is Marlee Martin and I have been the Executive Director of the Pickaway County Chamber of Commerce for just over a year now. I am very excited to be a part of this collaboration and to share some chamber insight each month.
The mission here at the Chamber is to “to support, promote and advocate for business creating value for our members.” I strive to do this everyday. As the Chamber is traditionally a networking organization, I try to host a variety of opportunities for members and the community to connect with one another. There is also a sense of pride when it comes to being a member of the Chamber and displaying one’s membership proudly to the community.
Our community has so many wonderful things to offer like the “For the Ladies Fashion Tour” created in collaboration with the Pickaway County Visitors Bureau and Welcome Center. The Fashion Tour is a map and listing of 10 locally owned and managed boutiques within the Circleville city limits, 7 of them are proud members of the Chamber! They specialize in everything from casual & OSU game day wear to formal wear. I love this idea because it encourages anyone to visit, shop local and support our community.
For more information swing into our offices located at the Pickaway County Welcome Center, 325 W Main St. in Circleville or our website pickawaychamber.com. Do not forget to share all your local shop Pickaway finds with us social media and use our hashtags, #DestinationPickaway #PickFashion.
